Cherokee KL Liftgate Controls
I just found a rubber pad covered control on our 2019 Cherokee Elite and I don't know it's function. It's right next to the left side license plate light and below the "J" in the word Jeep on the liftgate. It's not the control to open the lift gate by hand- that's further to the right of this control. Any ideas?

On the 2014 - 2018 the two rubber covered buttons on the liftgate bottom edge are: long oval shape is the auto open and the smaller round button locks all doors. S/B same for 2019.

I am interested in seeing what covers up that hole if there is no button there. This is how i am finding several dearls sell stock model 2018 and 2019 jeep Cherokee. Shouldnt there be a cover planel for it if it is not installed?
