Greetings, new to the forum. Recently purchased a 2019 Trailhawk Elite and added the 2in MFC lift and 265/70 17 Cooper Rugged Trek tires. Looking at doing some off-road events and they require a battery hold down. Does the factory one that clamps to the bottom of the battery suffice? Or do these places require an over-the-top type bracket in addition?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Some clubs are more picky and want positive retention using a strap across the top of the battery. Even a snugged down tow strap is better than hoping the wings on the bottom of the battery will hold if you roll it. Of course, you also have the clubs with beaters and nothing more than a bungie cord holding the battery in place.
