Anybody towed 4000 pounds with the 2014 cherokee latitude 3.6 tow package included
Hello,
I'm wondering if anybody has towed 4000 pounds with the jeep and there experience. I'm going to strawberry this year and thinking of renting the 19'
jay feather ultra lite x19h trailer with the following weight specs:
Unloaded Vehicle Weight (lbs) View Definition 3,350
Dry Hitch Weight (lbs) View Definition 305
Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (lbs) View Definition 4,950
Based upon the ratings for the jeep I think I should easily be able to tow the 4,000 pounds (water, 2 passengers, equipment). However, I've never towed anything more than 3000 pounds and I will be going up to yellowstone which has a few steep passes up / down.
Has anybody had experience towing that much weight with this jeep and going up / down steep inclines? what were your experiences with the performance of the jeep, the towing weight, etc.
