2019 Limited: Oil, Trans, Coolant temps
 

After selecting the Vehicle Information screen, three of the several options are Oil Temperature,Transmission Temperature and Coolant Temperature. Each of the three gauges, when selected, show a curved line at the top of the gauge which is a rough visual presentation of the situation and, in the case of the Trans and Coolant, also a large numerical display showing the actual temperature. The Oil Temperature gauge only shows the curved line at the top. Shouldn't the numerical value also be shown ? The service manager checked another Cherokee on the lot, found it to be the same, decrees it to be as required and is not going to look any further. I am not quite satisfied that he is correct. I would appreciate hearing from other owners and receiving your input.

My 2019 limited is exactly the same, no temp given for oil temperature. Just the graph

This topic has been discussed before on various forums. Answer: yes, the gauge should show the actual temperature. No idea why it does not but no 2019 does. Bottom line, your service manager was correct.
