2018 Trailhawk Transmission Issues

I'm experiencing a known Chrysler transmission problem with my 2018 Cherokee TrailHawk, but don't know to proceed getting it fixed, as dealers are ignoring the issue, As others have reported, going over speed bumps at a very low speed of 3-5 mpg, a grinding noise coming from the transmission. I lose the ability to use the gas pedal momentarily also. It's repeatable, but not always repeatable. Same speed-bump, a second time no problem. But it returns later.

Apparently this is a known defect in the transmission, but Jeep doesn't want to deal with fixing it. My questions:

* What is the problem with the Cherokee KL transmission that causes this grinding?
* How will this get repaired, if the dealers are going to ignore it?
* Will a local transmission specialist be able to fix it?

I have a 2014 cherokee, it sounds like what mine does if I hit a speed bump to hard but for me the noise and loss of gas pedal response is due t ok traction control kicking on. Try turning traction control off via the button just under hvac controls and drive over speed bumps a couple of times as jd see if it stops.

Agree it is traction control. My 18 hawk does it sporadically on speed bumps and I think you get the message or light on the dash it kicks on, my 05 mustang does the same thing but that is a live axle
