Smooth Shifts plz

I have a 2016 cherokee limited w/3.2 liter and trying to find answers on available updates in shift logic, this thing is not learning for me, it can't handle a rolling stop with any smoothness, but during highway acceleration, half plus gas on it doesn't even bother to downshift, forgets the gears and lets the engine to all the work, I have to believe Jeep has addressed this in the 17's, 18's and 19's or their sales would be hurting, especially return customer buys, am I just being optimistic that the software fixes, versions are out there that could resolve this issue, i didn't buy from a Jeep dealership so I got nothing from taking it to where i bought it but a 5 day long wheel balance...

Good luck. I haver a 2014. Been through hell with FCA. Finally they put a new trans in. Still does the same things. My very last FCA purchase forever and I'm very vocal about this to friends and family and anyone who asks. This trans is basically junk. Looking at selling my Cherokee and buying a Volvo....my list of issues w/in the first 3 years is as long as the Bible. Just not right. So hopefully you have better luck than I. Best of luck!!
