2016 Cherokee Hood Blackout
 

I want to put an aftermarket hood blackout decal on my hood like the Trailhawks have, theres a few that seem to make good ones pretty cheap. Has anyone done this and what did you use/do?

I know Jeep sells them, or used to, as genuine MOPAR accessories. Jeep has a Custom Decal site set up, somewhere...

I did this to my wife's Cherokee. I got the decal off of eBay and followed the directions that they provided. Basically some dish soap and water in a squirt bottle to wet down the hood and decal. Then squeegee it out. Just ensure the decal you buy is a wet applied decal. Was quite easy and took about 30 minutes. Looks just like the factory decal.

I don't remember the seller but the decal was around 40 dollars or so.

I researched and found that I bought it from Alpha Vinyl on eBay. It was less than 40 dollars.
