2013 Jeep Cherokee Lift gate light
Hey everyone,
I was really hoping there was a quick fix for the lift gate light that is on in my 2013 Jeep Cherokee. Since the vehicle is showing the lift gate open, all of the lights inside of the car stay on while driving. I cant tell if any piece broke off, but the latch seems to be ok. Is there a quick fix to this? I've attached a few photos, and I will admit that I am terrible with dealing with any mechanical issues on cars.
Thanks again for all you help!

Try this:

Resetting the fuse seems to fix a lot of lift gate issues.

Sorry it didn't work! That's a dead battery waiting to happen. It suggests to me though there's a physical problem (like a short), rather than a software glitch.
