Just wanted to bump this and remind people to put it on their calendars.

 

50/50 Raffle Details....$5 - 1 chance, $10 = 3 chances. Get everyone to participate....the point of a 50/50...the bigger the pot...the bigger the prize.

Rock Garden Crawl and Blind Obstacle Course:

These are not EXTREME offroad events....the Rock Garden is 50 yards of shakedown rocks that Jeeps from mild to wild can have fun on. The Blind Obstacle course will be an obstacle course that allows the testing of the Spotter/Driver teamwork. The driver will be blindfolded and rely solely on the the direction of the spotter.

These will be FUN events open to all....Can't wait to have a laugh a minute at some of the teams....Think I will have my 8 year old spot.....

 

Another detail....

Show and Shine....EVERYONE WHO ENTERS IS AUTOMATICALLY ENTERED.....each Jeep will get a number....voting will be for 3 classes....

BEST: Mall or Crawl, and the CPO CFJ (Coolest "F"ing Jeep)

Here is the rub....everyone votes...and you don't pick your class....so if you win....will you be Mall? Or will you be Crawl? Or...do you think you have what it takes to be the CFJ? Prize awarded for each class.

 

 

Think ahead and bring what you need....chairs if you want to sit...blankets if you want to lay around...a cooler with your beverages....

We will have a Porta-Potty and onsite Food Vendor with BBQ for sale....but we are not authorized to sell beer and the like...so BYO....

CAMPING IS WELCOMED AND NECESSARY IF YOU DRINK TOO MUCH! Be Prepared or bring a designated driver! Drink and wheel responsibly....

Ok guys....time to harp about the biggest part of this event....it is a SWAP MEET....bring your parts....line up some trades and ask people to bring things....lets get the swap meet rolling!!

 

So...first and foremost..it is a swap meet...so bring your parts! I am looking for 4.5" front shocks for an XJ so everyone knows...lol (same as 4" on TJ)

Secondly...lot of fun planned...

1) All entrant show and shine....

2) A Rock Garden for some mild crawlin....always a good time....

3) An obstacle course for fun, or the Blind Wheeling competition....

4) RTI ramp to check that flex....

5) a 50/50 raffle...spend a little, win A LOT

6) We mention the Purple Pit will be there with their Pit BBQ operation? yum!

7) A shop and tools...emergency repairs can be handled...

8) Local and national vendors with booths and prizes!

Event is from 3-8...this is considered family friendly...after 8 starts the campfire and Jeeper hangout....will be a great time...last year was insanely fun!

So get on out next Saturday....you won't be disappointed!

 

We have all heard of the tragic events in Moore, OK. Some of us have friends out that way and would like to help....to that end...we will be collecting for the needy in Moore on Saturday at the event. If you have anything you can give, please bring it, and Jon Brunnelson will be coordinating the donation effort and shipping the goods to OK.
