Sheriffs Jeep Fest 2016
Disclaimer: I'm not part of this event in any way, shape or form. I attend this event because my wife loves going & its a great family friendly atmosphere for the kids.*
This is the 5th year the Jasper County Sheriff & his staff has organized this event. This year the home base will be on a 40 acre piece of property they recently secured a long term lease on. There will be many trails & sa obstacle course at home base.
In years past they had a Thursday night ride, bon fires, live bands, lots of food vendors, new & used parts vendors, kids play area, 3 obstacle courses at home base, teeter totter for Jeeps & other stuff to keep you busy all weekend.*
You can pre register for $60. It will be September 1st through the 4th.

Hope to see you there.
They have a Thursday night ride but it is a 4 hour traffic jam. If I can get enough folks interested, I, along with some other members of North Georgia Jeepers, will host a private night ride. I guarantee you will use 4wd & you will have fun. The location is about 45 minutes away from home base.

No, I don't lick fish.
Really wish I could. I'm already doing the Back the Blue Jeep Convoy on the 17th, and then Jeeptoberfest the weekend of October 14th, and hopefully Krawlin' for the Fallen in November.
Definitely want to make it up that way one year though. I gotta go wheelin' out of state!
A buddy of mine went to Cherokee Crawl in Harlan this past summer. Looked awesome.

If you want to go out of state & wheel, you should try Morris Mountain or Choccolocco in Alabama. I would not consider the Jeepfest a wheeling event more like a social gathering with a few mild trails & obstacle courses.

Oh God no! Jeep Beach is the worst for that. The course sucks and the event is crowded.
Jeeptoberfest is a little better. The courses are GREAT! But it's still pretty crowded.

stay in a cabin.
I ignore the elitist in their JKs. I've never had a issue with anything while there. This is my 5th (?) time going.
