Hey everyone,
My name is Jake and for my 20th birthday I got a 1992 XJ Laredo that I bought for $750 and it runs great. I'm going to enjoy this project. |
Hi and welcome, and a Happy Birthday.
Xj looks solid enjoy. |
welcome to the site! what are your plans for it?

Welcome to the site Jake. 3.5" lift with black steelies would look pretty sweet.

Looks like it already has some bedliner on it, NICE! What a steal!

Thanks everyone! I didn't see all the posts until now lol. So the PO said that he belonged to a Jeep forum (didn't mention which one) and he followed suggestions which helped this one over 300,000 and still be in great shape!
I have a laundry list of stuff I'd like to do: -Fix gauges, especially gas. I get over concerned with how much fuel I have and with the tire size difference my mileage is off. -3'' Rough Country lift or which ever one is the best for the wallet and quality. -31x10.50X15 tires. I work for a tire shop so I get tires for a good price. -Fix the radio and speakers. The radio doesn't save presets or the clock. Something special I have to do? The back speakers also crackle real bad so I'll replace them. -Most importantly, keep it running strong and in good shape for as long as possible. Thanks for the welcome everyone and I hope to make some friends and learn a lot to make my Jeep as sweet as y'alls :w00t: |
Awesome! Welcome to the forum, your Jeep looks a lot like mine. I did the bedliner thing on my fenders. Have fun building and wheeling it.

Thanks tobtech! The bed liner is starting to come off somewhat. I need to touch up or redo it any ideas?

I used the Duplicolor from Autozone in a spray can and just did a few light coats. It looks like you have real bedliner on there and its probably thicker. If it is literally coming off the plastic you might have to take it all off and start over, not sure if a repair will do much. You could try sanding off the areas that are coming up and hitting it again with the bedliner.
