Xj in GA
So I live in GA and a new owner of 99 XJ Sport with 229k miles , 31x 10.50/15 General A/T tires, smittybilt XRC frt w/winch plate and rr bumpers, 9.5k winch as well. . I'm looking to do some lite trail wheeling in North GA with the family. I've gone thru the basics fluids, mechanical driveline etc.. I have notice the steering wandering due to the Gear box Flex on the unibody rail, so that's the first mod. any recommendation's? I plan on a 4-1/2 lift from RC ,frt and rear lunch box lockers. Any suggestions is helpful,

Nice score on the Cherokee and Welcome.
Are you absolutely sure you're having frame flex at the gearbox and not a couple thousandth of an inch internal slop between the worm & sector ? Most if not all power steering gear boxes need adjustment to correct for normal wear by 200K miles. Some a lot earlier.
