1998 Jeep Cherokee Classic

Bought on November 1, 2017, this is my second XJ
head gasket basically blew when’s I parked it in my drive way from the pick up, luckily I had a buddy with a 4.0 Stroked to a 4.7 collecting dust, that was just installed 11/19/2017, so far so good..
  • could use some advice about shock absorbers the PO put a 3 inch coil spring, and some terrible shock absorber, just wondering if I can buy new shock absorber from advance auto and install l (deleting this paragraph after answered if answered)

Welcome.

There are a lot of good shocks out there and a lot of crummy ones.

I doubt advance auto will have a listing for a lifted Jeep. Try one of our supporting vendors here on the forum.

This is how she sits currently, going to do some body work this weekend hopefully still got a lot of work to do to get it to when I want it, I’ll keep y’all posted
