Where to start
I live in Palm Desert Ca., A great location for exploring the desert with a Jeep type product. We have property in New Mexico between Albuquerque and Santa Fe around 6400 ft. This is a big reason for the Cherokee, as we are going to build a home there.
I just finished the 1965 327-350 hp Corvette roadster below. You can call it a resto-mod as I updated all the underpinnings with current or state of product. It looks stock or original I purchased it in 2004 and it was a kit car,[joke] by this I mean the seller had told me he started taking it apart 10 yrs before. I picked it up in boxes, the chassis hardly rolled on the trailer as it was in piece's. I completed it in 2007,a complete body off restoration. I just finished installing a 5-speed and it's great. The speeds on the highways or so much faster then when this car was built, that the RPM'S at 75 were close to 4000, now they are 2300, and the engine just purs along.
My 2nd is 2003 2500hd Silverado Duramax 2dr ext cab w/short bed 2wheel drive, thus need for a 4x4 425hp/750torque w/program-24mpg on trips not towing. A great driver.
My wife drives a ML350 Suv awd, I don't want to destroy it in the mtns with the snow, even though that's what it's for.
The above sums up my car interests, oh yes, I gave up work as a bad happening.
Like I said, I enjoy the car hobby, and the great people you meet, thanks you for letting me be apart of your group.

We meet again Dennis and thanks for the pics of your beautiful Vette. Welcome to CF from Deep South Texas. We are extremely glad you bought a Cherokee and hope you become as enthused about it as you obviously are about your Vette.
Any questions you have about the Jeep then post them in the Chat section and we will try to help you find answers.
