What have I done now?
Hello folks, My name is Scott and I bought My first Jeep Yesterday. It is a 1993 Cherokee Sport 2WD automatic with the 4.0 Straight six. I have been a fan of that motor since a buddy's Commanche went over 200,000 miles including a Teenager!
The one I bought is showing 165,000 miles but the motor was changed out this April after the owners Son drove it out of oil so the true engine mileage is unknown. I'm sure I will be asking many questions about its Quirks, glad I Googled Jeep Cherokee!

Looks like we pretty much have the same Jeep. I'm pushing 185k on mine with the original engine.

Thanks for the greetings, I have some cleaning yet to do on it and the serpantine belt needs replaced for sure, then the A/C system needs attention. Still, for $1500 I think I did OK.
BTW, I am located in Western Kentucky near the Tennessee Border.
