Waz up everybody? New to this site so I figured it would be fitting that I let all of you know how IGNORANT I am before you start laughing at me and my questions. While I have been around jeeps since i can remember, when it comes to all the technical stuff, i know nothing. But i am learning now, so bear with me. Anyways, thanks in advance for all the advice i'm sure i'll need in the future.

Welcome aboard! Between all of us here at CF, we should be able to answer any questions you might have, or at least steer you in the right direction. Give us a few details on your Jeep - year, engine, etc.

My xj details
Well thanks to all of you for the welcome. I'm just happy to have found a forum where the members are NICE!Anyways, my Jeep is a 2001 cherokee sport (4.0 with the I-6). Unfortunately its a 2wd, but i bought it myself (my first car) and I love it. I wasn't raised around many car people, but i want to get to where I can do ALL of my maintainence/upgrades myself. So with a couple of manuals, a LOT of help, a hope and a prayer, i will eventually get there.

Shoot look for the parts needed to convert to a 4x4.. Just need what a front end, t-case, drive shaft and so on...oh and the shifter and you are all set..Oh and lots and lots of time..I helped a friend do this on a 93 but we used donor parts from an 89 (not my choice) and had some issues with a few things after the fact...
Oh and welcome to the board..Blue can be nice but we have to cage him from time to time..
