I am new to the group and thought you all would appreciate an introduction. I am a somewhat new member to the Jeep owners love/hate convention as it were. Most days I love the G. Cherokee but lately as I have had more and more expensive things go wrong, it is turning to a intense dislike. I have never had a vehicle with axle trouble before. It is a frustrating thing to be running around town having to describe the noise for a mechanic and looking like a bad setup for a hidden camera show. A short woman saying things like its a deep rubbing sound that has turned into a doo-wop noise but no metal on metal skreeching or scrapping sounds as I drive, gets some funny reactions from mechanics. I have a little bit on mechanical knowhow, enough to know when my vehicle is in trouble and try to fix it at least.
I am retired and enjoying driving. To many this would not be considered a hobby but it is one of my favorites. I combine the love of driving and my love of photographing nature. I need the jeep to get me to places to take pictures of.

Hi, welcome. Every jeep has its moments but there's a bond with most that pulls us through to fight another day along side our jeeps. Hey, that sounded kinda inspirational. Anyways, how about some of those nature shots?
