Stock height?

Does my '99 Cherokee look like it's stock height, just bought it, it's got 15" wheels and 235/75/15 tires? I've seen many that sit lower.

Welcome to the forum. Looks like it sits at the correct height to me. P235's just fill the wheel wells more.

Does not look stock height to me.
I'm guessing 1" of lift... possibly up-country package?

Slugger 10-16-2010 04:15 PM

how far does yours measure from the ground to the bottom of the rockers?

RR 1982 10-16-2010 04:44 PM

I looked at the build sheet they sent me and I don't see that option. I will measure ground to rocker height and list it. Thanks

Welcome from Wisconsin. Looks stock to me, just your leafs haven't started sagging yet.

RR 1982 10-19-2010 03:45 PM

It's got 119,000 on it and not sagging yet? Wow. I don't know, it's just most of the other stock Cherokees I see sit noticably lower.

Welcome to CF. Doesn't sag like most I've seen.

you might of been seeing 2wd cherokee's i believe they sit lower than the 4x4's

I found some old pictures on mine when it was stock (and low miles)...
Guess they look the same, so I will retract my "up country" comments.

It has 119,000 miles not that low mileage, my '89 sat low 4wd,but 180,000 it had.

Height Reference

Here:thumbup1: is a height guideline, measure from the center of your tire (the axle center) up to the lower lip of your wheel well trim. Stock Front is 17.5 inch, Stock Rear is 17.0 inches. Less is sag, more is lift. This is not written in stone but is a real good guideline. Nice XJ you have there, looks a little lifted.

Thanks Everyone.
