Exclamation Stock Cherokee ready to upgrade

Hello, I just purchased a 1999 Cherokee classic in great condition. It is bone stock and I'm looking to make some upgrades. 1st upgrade will be a lift and some tires. My question is between a 2 inch lift and 30 x 9.5 or 3 inch lift and 31 x 10.5. Pros and Cons? Will be an around town and weekend getaway vehicle to go ride trails. As for tires I'm pretty set on BFG Mud Terrains.

Go with the 3" lift. You'll want more later anyway. They say lift is addictive.
