se indiana/new guy to site
cruised thru here on and off for a few years.
have owned jeeps on and off for several years.
"Ol' Blackie" is my '98 Cherokee Sport and we've been ridin' together for about 10 or 11 years. He doesn't seem to care if I ride 'im hard or just roll down the road with 'im. He is good to me and I return the favor in kind.
I have owned and operated an old cj-7 as well as an 89 "woody".
I have done my own suspension and motor work but have never gone more than 3 to 4 inches and motor work has always been stock.
I have gotten lots of good info from here over the the last few years and appreciate it !! THANKS !!
Figured it's time i join so that i might share what lil' info i might have to share and to be corrected when i think i know and don't.

Rush County. I'm what 45-50 miles from east side. I don't make it the "city" much. But if your ever down this way, stop in,,I'll buy ya' a cold beer. You ever go to Haspin Acres ? I quit goin' down a while back. the place is a bombed out mess.

Well I'm only 20 lol I'm out by the greenfield area in new Palestine. But sadly haven't had a chance to go to a park since I got my jeep but have been to haspin on a bike. I HATE that place but absolutely love badlands and have been there many times!! Prolly gonna go wheeling there alot this summer! =D u ever go there?
haspin is only about 12 miles from me.
i re-discovered fishin' and only "wheel" my jeep when getting to where i need to go to get to the fishes. or hunting. aint skeerd to flogg ol' blackie when i need to, i've had him mirror deep in the muck and mire of the flat rock river valley and sech, but he's my daily driver and i quit beatin' and breakin' 'im back about '06.
I love haspin acres. great place to camp and loosen up. i just keep my rig "up on the tops" and watch the drunks and in-breed trash their stuff.

lol but I'm a huge fan of the badlands!!! It's my favorite! We're gonna have to meet up sometime! And where's some pics I your rig??
