Default Radio not working after install of battery

Could someone please help me? My daughter had her battery changed and now the radio does not work. I check the fuse under the dash labeled Amp. Is there another fuse under the hood that could have blown, if so what is it called because the owners manual does not list a radio. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

Welcome to the site. You may also want to check to see if there was power going to the radio too, then kind of work your way back from there.

That's excactly what happen to my daughter's car (her neighbor trying to help out hooked the battery up wrong) I do have good new though, I found the amp fuse and radio fuse (which was tough) replaced both and the radio works fine. Maybe if you find both fuses yours may work too.

Take Care!

Default radio not working

The Amp fuse was located under the dash (inside the vehicle) the radio fuse was located in the fuse box under the hood. My daughter is not here right now but from what I remember the radio fuse was located inside the double fuse holder (two fuses that come out together) Hope this helps.

Take Care!
