I've driven my 1989 Jeep Cherokee Laredo for over 4 reliable years, and last month it rolled over 300,000 miles. However, since last winter I've had one headache with it. The original coolant bottle had cracked by the hose nipple, and every replacement I buy soon starts "popping" the lid, with a resultant loss of pressure and coolant. The original tank never had this problem. I found one at a junkyard the other day, and while the lid seals nicely, it is so aged that I am losing coolant from a crack on the side. Any advice on how to find a good, reliable coolant overflow tank?
