Default not sure what i got xj,tj,yj????

I have a 2000 cherokee and love it but how do i know what letters it is? xj,yj,tj not sure how it works.

the ragular brick shaped cherokee is xj the grand cherokees I beleave is zj wj hmmm forgot the rest,lol yj is wrangler with square head lights and tj is round head lights and the new wranglers that are really wide are jk's
and the little jeep pickups are mj's

theres a whole three mile long list of the initials for every jeep and changes in generations, too many for me to remember

the one in your picture is an xj

XJ = ALL JEEP CHEROKEES
MJ = ALL JEEP COMANCHES
ZJ = 93-98 GRAND CHEROKEES
WJ= 99-04 GRAND CHEROKEES
YJ = 87-95 WRANGLERS
TJ = 97-05 WRANGLERS (NO 1996 WRANGLER WAS EVER MADE)
LJ = 04+TJ LONGER WHEELBASE AKA "UNLIMITED"
KJ = 02-09 LIBERTY
JK = 06+ WRANGLER

thanks for the clarity on that now i can order some goodies! still dream of adding a lift and getting rid of the carpet. any suggestions on what kinda lift kit would bw best? I only need about a 3in lift. i was on the quadratech site and theres alot of options.

Rough country is not bad. Some what cheap but still has a good lift. It is what I am going to be getting this summer just for a ZJ.
