Default newbie here from texas!

What's up guys? I just recently had a 1990 cherokee Laredo handed down to me. I have nothing done to it as of yet but this will be my first project so I am very excited! Any helpful tips or ideas to get it started would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome. I'm fairly new to the Cherokee. I bought my first one a month ago, but have been messing around with Jeeps for 30 years. If you're in the Houston area I might be able to lend a hand when you need one.

Cool man. I live 20 miles outside of abilene but I definatly appreciate the offer. With this being my first build I could use tips and advice as to where to start. It's not 4wd but has the 4.0 5 spd manual.

If you're up for a little drive there's a guy Lubbock parting out a GC https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f73/pa...ans-tc-197568/

You could get a good start on making yours a 4WD, or just buy the rear axle to convert your rear brakes to disc.
