Hello all you Jeepers. I'm from Western KY, I finally got me the XJ. It's a 99' Jeep Cherokee Sport. It has 315,000 miles on odometer, and is still running very strong, and has no leaks. Very few bugs as of now. It came with some newer 18" Jeep wheels on some 225 55 18s. I cut the fenders which looks great, but still rubs when turning or hard bumps. Really want to lift it a couple inches. Don't wanna stick a lot of money in it at this time, but I know my leafs are wore cause they're flat. What are good suggestions on lifting my XJ 2" or 3" without having a whole lot to do, and everything still be right and nothing strained. It's an everyday driver, and do want to be able to still pull small camper. I need ideas on where I should start. Thanks ahead of time.

I'm looking real hard at the Superlift 2.5" for my XJ.

There are far more experienced folks here when it comes to lifting though... hopefully one of them signs in. Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the forum. Lets see some pics!
You are going to get alot of different suggestions about which lift to buy. I am going to recommend Zone. I have their 3 inch lift with full leaf packs and for the price and quality it was money well spent.

Was also thinking of a junkyard lift with bastard pks and coil springs for a 3" lift. Wat all will I need for an affective lift? Anyone know which leaf springs are best to use , and also which coil springs to look for? Vehicles in my area usually aren't ate up from salt.

HoJo's 99' XJ
Cut and folded. 225-55-18.. notice the cancer on driver rear quarter panel. That is the worst part of the Jeep.
Trimmed. 225-55-18
