Hey guys,
Just got a 2000 Jeep Cherokee sport today in a trade. I traded my lifted Chevy 83 K10 for it. It has a 6" sky jacker lift with MT 33s and procomp wheels. Some cool steel offroad bumpers I never seen before, hood pins, and it came with a pile of free mud and a busted rear windshield. Got the windshield replaced right away.
The truck is pretty solid with 130k. The drive home it overheated. When I got it the radio, gauges, dash lights, dome lights, etc were all dead. Previous owner claimed they were just working. Turned out to be the fuse under the hood, simple fix. The over heating subsided but came back at a later time as I was going to the auto glass repair shop. It literally flooded the lot with coolant as it overflowed and ran like **** and misfired afterward (I think the boiling coolant may have gotten on the coil packs or some sensors). Since then I added some coolant, let it cool down and dry out it runs like a champ and has not overheated since. I am going to replace the thermostat just in case as the symptoms lead me to believe it may be faulty. It also has an electric fan that is tied to a switch that appears to be aftermarket.
Here are some pics:
It also has a 5th wheel mounted to the rear that doesn't appear in the picture.

Realigned the steering wheel and aligned the wheels, it drives pretty straight now it just veers with the contour of the road. I noticed I have no sway bars so need to get some at least for the front.
I also have a headlight out so I am looking at purchasing some ipf headlamps with some hella 100/80w bulbs and a putco harness.

This truck is for sale if anyone is interested. $2800 OBO.
Needs a new battery and rear driver side brake drum is leaking brake fluid. Other then that, runs and drives fine.
I never got around to really doing much with it. Have two kids now and need to get rid of my toys.
First forum member to hit me up will get a good deal.
