I actually dont own a jeep yet but I'm looking to buy an XJ sometime in the next few weeks. I'll looking at a stock 97 tomorrow. My wife and I have small cars, a Mini and a beetle. So we're in need of something to throw the kayaks on, the dogs in, and for lumber trips. The looks I get at Home Depot with 2x4's popping out of the sunroof of my Mini are priceless though. Not looking to make a monster...yet
In the meantime it'll prob. just be some working mods that make the stocker better. So if anyone has a lead in the southeast on a 97 or newer XJ, LMK!!!

Thanks for the welcome guys. I've spent the last couple of days lurking and just absorbing the knowledge around here. I thought I was going to be making a purchase on an XJ yesterday but the 97 I was looking at was sold before I got there and I looked at a 98 that had issues with the transfer case so I passed. Thats just the way it goes.
I'll def. look you up Rockstar, Without even owning one I started designing brackets for A-pillar mounted lights(I'm a product deisgner by day, whattaya expect?).
