New to the XJ Family!
Hello! After a bad car accident destroyed my '04 WJ, I have finally joined the 2001 XJ family and am in the process of installing beginner aftermarket parts. So far, 3" lift (no add-a-leaf, kept level), safari rack, new radio. Going to add a new bumper, wipers, dash and dial kit and head lights. I bought it painted white with a 10k mi aftermarket motor, and a brand new transmission from a retired Huey pilot. Drives like a charm and probably the best deal i could have gotten.
I dont go recreational "mudding" so to speak, but i take my vix offroad for backcountry camping/hiking/fishing purposes, which is why i prefer off road varieties but not gonna go crazy with the biggest/craziest parts.
anyways... really loving it so far, glad to join this forum!!!
