Jeep Cherokee Forum - New to the xj

First day I got it home
New to the fourm and figured an introduction would be a good start. I've found lots of useful information on this fourm through lots of googling so y'all guys are top notch. On to the good stuff my Cherokee! This past March an old family friend asked me if I was still interested in the old 1990 Jeep Cherokee that I tried to buy from her father many time when I was a teenager. Her father had been laid to rest a few months before she contacted me and the kids were trying to clean up and take care of everything. I get out to the property with a car hauler (was told the Jeep hasn't been moved in over 14 years) seen the old xj just sitting in the field loaded it up and hauled it home with a lot of excitement and wonder as to what would be wrong after sitting so long outside in a field especially with mice that love to chew on wires. Many many hours later lots of cursing some blood and the Jeep is now running working towards the driving part. I've replaced the fuel pump, fuel regulator, water pump, 195° thermostat, newer 92+ thermostat housing, 92+ radiator, 92+ overflow tank, all new coolant hose's and the new fan clutch is going on today.
