New to an XJ
Im DJ. Im new to the XJ and look forward to learning it. I have been into jeeps for around 10 years now. I have had from then to now;
1) 1980 Jeep Cherokee Laredo WT. Sold it in 2003---MISTAKE
1.1) 1977 CJ-7. Got it for free, had to sell it when I moved to Alaska
1.2) 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Wagonmaster edition. couldnt ship it.
2) 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Loved it but it had to go.
3) 2001 Jeep Cherokee sport 2wd. For now...Bone Stock.
I just moved from the Alaskan interior to the Panhandle of Florida. Its nice to be in an area that's not winter 8 months a year. You have no idea unless you have been to the interior of Alaska what that kind of cold can do to a vehicle. Temps in the summer range from 60's to mid 90's, and in the winter all the way down to -68F. YES! That's 68 Below ZERO!
I am looking forward to doing work on this XJ and would like to find a 4 door, 4wd model as well if i can get one cheap enough.
