I am now a proud XJ owner.
Picked up a 1999 for stupid cheap. It sat for a couple years, plus it was in snow/salt country.
So rust is an issue... This will NOT be my daily driver, just fun on the trails.
At least I wont cry if I slam into a tree haha.

I have never done lifts before, so I have alot to learn. I have experienced friends with Wranglers though.
My current plan is Rusty's 4.5inch short arm kit, slip yoke eliminator, and 33inch tires.
Currently I am replacing all the brake lines, I bought braided soft lines for 4-5inch lift from Crown Performance. As well as repairing miscellaneous things.

Any suggestions for a newbie?
Does anyone have a pic of a similar lift / tire combination?
