new from tennessee 1990 limited

Default new from tennessee 1990 limited

I have just bought a 1990 limited 4.0 fully loaded ..only problem is ,the trans will not shift out of 2nd gear...it a AW4 trans..with power/econo mode..

103,000 miles is all thats on it.

does anyone know what it could be?

thank you...this thing does not have any rust in it at all...Thats a good thing...It is a very clean jeep.

I would like to fix it up..

its just to hot to get much done outside

no...i am almost in the mountains here..see the background of my pics..

It has been around 90 -95 the last few weeks..normal is 85 the high..and it is just going to get hotter here..high 90's rest of the week..

last friday it was only 74 here..that was nice.

i may have found it..i am going to change the TPS and adjust it...and hope it fixes it up.

I like it here..alot of good info...And i did get it fixed...bad Throttle POs. Sensor...now it works great...

New to these jeeps...I have a lot of old chevy's

Glad you got it fixed. I am not much help when it comes to fixing stuff. My dad is a tech so I just call him and ask a bunch of questions. Troubleshooting is alot different then replacing.(harder if you ask me)
I had a 72 c10 a few years back but didn't have the time to put into it so I sold it. It would have been a sweet truck but my kids are happy that I have time to hang out with them.
