New with Questions!!
Hey All!
I am from a dual-Jeep family, both my husband and I own one. I drive a 2006 Grand Cherokee and he drives a 2002 Wrangler Sport. I am in need of some advice, if you can give it!
We are planning a move from AZ to NY and I don't really want to drive seperatley (I'm sure DH wouldn't mind...). Do you think it would be at all possible to tow the Wrangler with the Cherokee??? I talked to U-Haul about renting a trailer to tow the Wrangler, and they said they would not rent the trailer to me because the Cherokee wasn't heavy enough to tow the Wrangler. But I just wanted to know if it IS possible, and if so, how to tow w/o a trailer... Any advice/info would be greatly appreciated!!!

Check this chart. >->http://www.wkjeeps.com/wk_towing.htm#SPECS
If it's not over the limits of your WK, you can use a tow dolly. Put the transfer case of the Wrangler in Neutral, and the transmission in Park or First gear.
Don't use Overdrive when towing.

Just mountup some towbar brackets to the wrangler, and get a towbar. Probably cheaper than a rental and if the need should arise in the future you would already have it. Plus no added trailer weight on the grand, however no added brakes though.
