Default new from pennsylvania

hey, i'm from erie, pa... new to jeeps, always liked the off road look.. my name is james.... just bought a 2001 xj sport about 3 weeks ago. its stock so far and black with about 108k miles.

unfortunately had an exhaust leak so that went to our mechanic yesterday so thats being fixed today and he is patching my oil pan while he has it...... should get it back tomorrow!!!

heres a few pics:

can you see a color difference in the two headlight? or am i going crazy, even at night driving it looks different..... i believe these are seal beam lights so i have to get the whole light right? silverstar? or maybe the step down?

i will try and get some more pictures when i get it back. would like put a small lift on it hopefully before next winter.... due to my leaf springs being pretty much straight...

think i want to pull the side molding off and from the bumper lines down including fender flairs cover with the truck bed coating to help protect from our great winters here in pa!!

Welcome from OK! I'm originally from Warren myself, my mom lived in Erie for a few years. Check out eriejeeppeople.com they are local and they are pretty good folks. They won't care that you're still stock and they'll help you out. I think they have a runAgain, welcome maybe we'll wheel together if I ever come home on a permanent basis.

thanks everybody...

the snow on the garage floor??? we got a little snow a few weeks back, about 16ish inches (haha) in two days but the roads were not frozen so it turned into slush and thats what got stuck in the front bumper....

i completely forgot about eriejeeppeople.com thanks! i have family that lives out in waterford and we have about 100-200 acres there, i believe and i talked to my uncle a bit but he doesnt like the idea of having ruts in his land so maybe ill take a look and see what their logging trails look like in the woods.

can understand that one. My grandfather is the same way. 100 acres doesn't go very far to keep your interest.
