New owner from NY mint 99' XJ
So I recently sold my 05 tl and used the money from that along with what I had saved up to finally get a 03' cobra. Since I picked that up I knew that I now needed a new, reliable DD that would also get me through winter so I found this mint XJ with only a little over 99k miles for 5k.
Of course I am also looking to put some money into this as well to take it from a boring truck to my personal jeep. I'm only 20 and I have no experience with jeeps but I have been browsing the forums for the past couple of weeks and came up with some things I have in mind for my jeep.
The main thing I want is to make sure that the actual body of the jeep is untampered so no fabricating and I want to make sure this remains a good DD that can be driven on the highway without worrying about control of the truck. I'm not going to be doing a lot of off-roading but maybe just a little to see what a jeep is all about. So keeping this in mind these are the mods I came up with so far. Suggestions are highly welcome particularly brands and what not.
3" lift
32" tires
15" wheels
Intake
Exhaust
and maybe headers down the line
Finally just wanted to say that it feels great to be part of the Jeep Community!
