New to off-road

Hey, I'm a bit new to all of this and can't wait to dig in. I've had my fair share of automotive projects but on a different end of the spectrum. I've had my Sti for a while, a couple 240sx and boosted Integra (was pushing 385hp on 21psi). All my life I've been chasing boost and getting as low as possible. I went with my friend on an over-landing trip and came home, sold the Integra and bought a beater WJ. I know nothing of suspension asside from coilovers and LCA for camber. But I'm super pumped to learn. The suspension on the WJ is definitely shot ...I plan on lurking for a bit to get an idea of what to upgrade out of the box to prep for a likely minor 2.5" lift etc. But I figure, since I'm.replacing suspension components, rather than going for OEM, I can future proof a bit as I build. I'm super stoked and can't wait to get this bad boy up and going by Summer!
