New from north west florida
hello, just joined the forum in hopes of learning more about the xj's. I convinced the wife to get one (it helped that her dad had one with almost 300k miles when he sold it) after we get a house. Well we are putting an offer on a house on Saturday so after we move in I'll be able to start saving up for one. I'll keep checking the for sale section on here in case something good pops up . Just wanted to say hello

I think I'll go ahead and introduce myself a little more ...My name is Jason and I currently live in Crestview, FL. I am originally from the Tampa area and graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering. Right after I graduated, I got married and got a job offer in St. Marys, GA. The wife and I stayed there for 8 months but she was unable to find a job (she is also an ME). She got a job offer with a company in the Florida Panhandle so we decided to move.
I currently have a 93 S10 Blazer and a 93 Typhoon. The blazer is my daily driver but its only 2 wheel drive. I was originally looking for an XJ when I found my blazer so I have wanted one for awhile just different circumstances kept me from getting one. Well that's me in a nutshell, any questions just feel free to ask...I'll try to answer them

Jason, welcome to CF from Buck in western Washington state. That is a gorgeous Typhoon. Post some pics of your XJ soon. I did a few years in NW Florida, too. P-cola baby.

Man I haven't posted in awhile. Well, we bought a house in Baker, FL and the Blazer started becoming a little unreliable so the wife wanted to get something that wasn't going to be a project. So long story short, I still don't have a Cherokee . We ended up getting a 2008 Dodge Magnum and we now have 4 cars so I don't think there is any way of convincing her to let me get a Cherokee.
