Hey Everyone,
I'm a seasoned shade-tree mechanic (does that apply in the desert?) but my projects have always been BMWs or VWs. Now that I live in Las Vegas I bought a '98 XJ Classic, 4.0, auto, 4x4 with 157K miles. As far as I can tell it's totally stock and in need of a lot of upgrades. It will be fun to start from scratch and not have to undo a previous owners mistakes for a change so I'll be looking to you for inspiration and expertise.
Regards,
Gene

Welcome to the forums man. You got any pics of your rig? I myself am new to the forums and picked my xj up last month. A lot of Vegas heads on here that live in your area. Check the regional section of the forums and find the Official Las Vegas thread.

Thanks for the kind welcome y'all. (Ya. I'm an immigrant from The South.) Once I figure out how to use the forum I'll post some photos of my ride and upgrades as I do them. I do need some parts though. Are there any yards in Vegas where I might have luck finding Cherokees?
