Howdy. This is forum month for me. Joined a different forum for the vehicle I bought. After having my 93 Cherokee Sport out of commission and the big storms coming up, I bought a replacement for it. The Cherokee got crunched at a shop and they settled with me for cash and towed it back to my house. I took it in with no brakes and they evidently did not notice until they hit one of their benches. Oh well, the damage is really minor but the vehicle is not worth much the way is sits. All it really needs mechanically to be back on the road is a brake master cyl, rear axle seal and front pads and disks. All I could do myself anyway. Got some rust going on. The damage to the right front is the fender, grill and headlight assy. I can get those parts at pic-a-part and do that myself also.
I have had the Cherokee for about 12 years and have 262K on the odometer. Was going to go for 300k when this happened.
Now that I have something else to drive and a Jeep Cherokee sitting behind the house, I don't have to limit myself to keeping it on the road. Now my imagination can run wild. I have something I can practice my welding on and not have to worry about not having something to drive.
Probably won't do anything till summer but now I have a toy to play with. Here it is back home. The red door came from pic-a-part after the original fell off in my hands one day.
