Hello, everyone! I am relatively new to the Jeep world, but am interested in learning more about my new rig! I had an 01 Cherokee Sport last year, but I got rear-ended and decided to take the insurance settlement check. I just made the arrangements to pick up a new 99 Cherokee Sport on Tuesday evening, which I am very excited about.
I have no mechanical ability, no tools, and little interest in wheeling. I am more interested in maintaining my vehicle, and doing anything I can to make it better for getting around Colorado and getting to rough hunting spots

Welcome!
I would do a full tune up (all fluids, ignition system, belt if it is warn, etc) to start, and just fix everything that is inevitably broken to get it back to "like new" condition.
