Hello All, Long story short, I traded a lawn mower for this 99 Cherokee 4.0. Never had a Jeep before and it had some issues. Stalling, Oil Pressure, Overheating, Ect... 180k on the engine. I work as mechanic for a Kenworth dealership, so I knew what I walking into. I have fixed the stalling, overheating, and oil pressure issues. Engine is 100% stock what are the recommended upgrades to make this a reliable solid daily driver. Highway and Heavy Snow

Welcome. A lawn mower? Thinking you did made out on that trade. Many folks will tell you that '99 is the year to have. Thinking we both own Jeep for the same reason. Think about putting in Cruise Control. It is literally plug and play. Plenty of threads about it. Just beware that you need the steering wheel switches from a '99 to '01. Pretty sure everything else can be sourced from '97 to '01. In my case she is just a DD and I want to also get around when it snows. I am hoping some year I come across a Jeep with the Select A Trac Transfer case, Full Time 4X4 option, and an 8.25 rear with the Factory Limited Slip. Just thinking that set up would be better for me instead of the Command Trac, Part Time 4X4, and the open 8.25 rear I have now.

I already have cruise... Exhaust leaking at collector which I'm not worried about at the time. would like it to run better... timing/injectors. I need to redo the front end with good parts.
