Over 307K miles on the original drivetrain... The good news is that it was a one owner, female owned vehicle. The body is in pretty good shape except for some rusty floor boards I am in the process of dealing with (here). Also, aside from wreaking of smoke (the PO was and is a smoker), the interior is in fantastic shape as well.

The car was still tagged and a regular driver when I bought. The goal is to put it into limited service until my son goes to USAF basic training. At that point the motor and trans will come out for rebuild or replace.

Looking good. surprising what a wash N wax will do to get some lipstick back on the pig. lol


That's a serious amount of miles to still be running stock gear. must have well maintained. Hope it works out for you.

Thanks. It's cleaning up pretty well; I am still finishing up dealing with the rusty floorboards. Also, already picked up a transmission for it from a fellow forum member. This trans has 170K on it, but I think I may rebuild it... On the lookout for a lower mileage 4.0.
