New kid from SoCal!
Hey guys, my name is AJ I'm from SoCal and I recently picked up a 1999 Cherokee XJ. I've got plans to lift it, put some off road tires on it and build it to be an expedition/roadtrip/camper kinda jeep so go over to the build threads and find me if you wanna keep updated!
I'm looking for reliable vendors to buy bumpers and things from so if anyone has any input let me know. I look forward to my time on this forum.

Looks great! My favorite guys for bumpers are www.JCROffroad.com. That being said, the forum does a decent job of removing the crappy ones and all of them are decent. You will have 1000 options for everything you buy so keep looking around. Serious Offroad is highly active on the forum, alot or guys like buying from him. Morris 4x4 just became a vendor on here but they are awesome and have a great selection. We have a bunch and almost all of them give a forum discount.
As for a lift kit, some of the best are Clayton, BDS, TNT Customs, and Rock Krawler.
other than that, it falls into opinion. I personally have ran an Iron Rock Offroad kit for along time, on many many wheeling trips and I like it. It has never given me a problem. On top of that, they are cheap.

Thanks guys, and awesome I'll check around the vendor marketplace to see what's available. I already picked up a skyjacker lift kit (they sent me the wrong lower control arms, but sent me a new one right away) so hopefully that's an OK brand. I like to do things once and do it right.
