New kid from IL!
Hey guys, I have just recently decided to make myself known on this forum. I have browsing gaining ideas for when I get into building my XJ into a worthy rig, all while enjoying the kick *** builds of everyone else!
Im from the north west(ish) part of Illinois and my name is Ryan, but y'all can call me Jonesy.
My XJ has been in my family since we bought it from the dealer, it was mostly a rig my dad drove to work and back every night and on sundays towed the boat with to Savanna, IL to go to the river. My mom drove it to work for a few yars then it was passed down to my sister until she bought her car, until I acquired it when I was 16 about 2 years ago.
So on and so forth, I got it into an accident going on about two yearsago, ran into the back of a Dodge Dakota going about 40-45 MPH, punctured my radiator, bent my front passenger fender, and tore my bumper. Sat in the garage up until February of last year when I finally got parts to fix it. I now just use it as my DD, it's two different colors of green though.
It isn't exactly pretty but I plan on making it a worthy rig that looks good and works just as great!
Hope I feel welcome here!
