Talking New from Kentucky

Hey guys I'm new here and supposed to be trading for a 92 cherokee XJ this Sunday. Supposed to be trading my 2008 Kawasaki KFX450R to it. It has the front fender cut out (way too much so that would be replaced and redone), snorkel, 31x10.50's, locked rear end. BUT... it does have some visual rust below the doors, it is 4 door. Has a clear title. Guy says nothing on the dash works (the gauges) so I figure that's probably a fuse. And the key was broken off in the ignition so he wired it up to a push button. He says it has cracked windshield and needs back brakes also. But says he recently put new rotors and brakes on front, new tires, new shocks, new rear springs, and new sway bars. I don't expect it to be perfect as it will be a project for me, I plan to lift it and do all that good stuff. I already own a 78 F150 4X4 with a 400 6.6, 4 speed, 7 inches of lift, sitting on 15x12 rims and 35x12.50's (resto/monster truck project, 12mpg's), and a 96 Ranger XLT 4x4 with a 245 4.0, automatic, 7 inches of lift, sitting on 15x10 rims and 33x12.50's (used to be daily driver, 10mpg's), and last but not least a 97 Wrangler TJ 4x4 with a 2.5, automatic, no lift, sitting on 15x8 rims and 31x10.50's (daily driver, 21mpg's). This XJ will be my project where I can drive it on the road comfortably but still built to fourwheel and possibly take to some meets or something. let me know what you guys think about the trade though, right now I'm dying having to wait until Sunday to go get it but can't wait to get it home and start messing with it.

Well brought home my jeep today! When I went to look at it the feller said, "before you decide on the trade by looking let me take you fourwheeling in it and show you what it can do" and I loved it! Absolutely fell in love with it. It does need some work on the back brakes and the key switch is messed up so it's push button and little stuff like that but I can't wait to get it lined out! Also, my dash doesn't work the only gauge that works is the battery gauge (I think it works anyways), what can I do for that? The rear end is welded, it has a snorkel, brand new 31x10.5's and new rims. New front brake rotors and pads, new rear springs, new shocks, new sway bars. It has a flowmaster on it. Will take some pics and try to figure out how to get them up tomorrow! I swear I'm like a little kid on Christmas! Haha
