New to jeeps but love to wheel!

Hey all I'm stoked to be getting back into wheeling agin. Im buying an XJ REAL soon and am looking at a nice one. What are your thoughts on full size axles vs standard track width?
Thanks guys!
RJ

It looks nice! Full widths have ups and downs. Extra width of course helps with tipping as well as being able to run larger tires. Downsides are laws (depending on where you are) and some trails it is nice to be narrow. Welcome to Cherokee forum!

Thanks guys! Im in so cal so it could go either way... throw some flaps on the back usually keeps the fuzz away but more of a trail rig that ill be flat towing.

he is asking 8K i countered with 7K
waiting on a reply but do you guys think thats a good fair price?

Oh thought it was yours. Personally I would try to find a really clean, low mile stocker and build it yourself. And my reasoning isnt the whole built vs. bought, its the fact the when you build something your self you get to know it, when it has a problem you know where to look, buying someone else s build can be a shot in the dark. it may be a rig built by a professional shop, or it can be someones backyard build that has a bit of homebrew engineering that some might not be able to understand. Not to long ago someone on here bought what he thought was a pretty awesome built xj, when in reality he bought a ridiculously high xj, with a bunch of shotty work, one he got on here and showed us his rig he soon realized his mistake and sold it.
