Hi there, I'm a Toyota technician up north in Calgary Alberta. I worked on Jeeps a long time ago and hated how rough they drove and how old the technology was. Now that I'm older I can appreciate the point of the jeep and while searching for a trail truck to prevent any further damage to my new Forester I ended up finding a little gem

2 days after I imeadiately went after the oil in the coolant issue. Had the head off in 4 hours haha, freaking awesome! No cracks found so far. Seems like a 00-01 issue.





Now I'm prepping the head to go back on. I'll be installing it with the manifolds removed.

I'm aiming for a fun trail rig that can be upgraded for bigger lifts down the road. Currently just looking at 3" lifts and humble 31-33" tires. Going to be doing my homework on what I want on this site for sure!

For now maintenance is priority, then mods later. This will be purely a budget weekend warrior. I have my Subaru for DD and winter. Too expensive to scratch trail riding again
