Default New to Jeep, new to mechanical work

Howdy, just got my first Jeep, an 89 Cherokee with the 4.0, selec-trac, auto, and custom fabbed front bumper for $500. I'll do a build thread seperately going into detail.

I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to engine work, with my most in depth fixes being a water pump and valve gasket replacement, but I'm looking forward to learning a lot from this Cherokee that I can use for years to come. I hope you guys like stupid questions, because I'll have a lot of them.

So far, I've got a Zone offroad 4.5"kit, some 33" treadwright Guard Dogs, a winch, roof rack, and a repaint on the menu. Of course that will lead to plenty of other things. First order of business is replacing the door that has a window out.

I'm out of Coeur d'Alene.
