Default new to jeep need alot of help

Just sold my truck and picked me up jeep. It is a 93 cherokee straight six 4.0 4x4. I know nothing about jeeps basically and the one I bought has alot of issues, the engine leeks bad only after I drive it tough I think it is coming from valve cover gasket not sure yet still have to clean the grease off and find for sure. No cat or exhaust, and some rust the interior is tore up, also the previous owner cut the wheel wells to high in the back so it is splitting the two panels apart, I plan to weld them back together. I plan to spend a couple months and fix all the issues, but like I said I know nothing of jeeps and am desperate for help on what would be the best way would be. I would greatly appreciate any help.

There is a ton of experience/knowledge available on the forum, you should have no problem getting it up and running good again. Just post a specific question in the correct location and the answers will fly in. Welcome to Cherokee Forum!
