Default New here.

Hey, the name's tyler! I'm from Hickory, NC born and raised and I just bought this cherokee back in october for $540 and drove it home which was 45 mins. away and didn't have a single problem out of it. It's a '91 and it's completely stock. I'm not sure the exact route I want to go with it but i'm thinking about a 2" BB and trimmed fenders with 31's. For now though it serves its purpose as a great daily driver! Looking to get some useful information from this forum and i'll help anyway I can! Here's some pictures of the Jeep...

Thanks man! Your jeep looks good from what I can see from your avatar! I love the tape adapter man. It works great and it saved me from having to buy a cd player and best of all it was only $10.

Yeah I used to train muay thai and BJJ with a couple of guys at a local gym and I did that for about two years. I've gotten pretty lazy here lately though and i've been slacking on the training but i'm supposed to meet up with the guys thursday and hopefully get back into the routine. But as far as the cup holder goes it was in the Jeep when I got it but you can pick one up on ebay for cheap. Here's a link to one I found but it's not on ebay...

Welcome. And I had the same point of view as you did. Just a small lift and lil bit bigger tires. Now im going all out with it. Just as they told me when i joined. Jeep stands for:

J-just
E-empty
E-every
P-pocket

Nice jeep. good luck to the build. Once you start it wont stop.

Oh trust me I know about the plans that start out with something little and turn out to be a huge hole in your pocket. I've owned three V8 mustangs so I know all about it. And this is the second XJ i've owned my first one was an 88 Cherokee that I put a 2" BB on and chopped the fenders completely off of it and put a set of 33" swampers on it. Drove it daily and wheeled the hell out of it almost every/every other weekend and it still ran like a top when I sold it and it had well over 200K miles on it that's why I just had to own another one!

Welcome from Chitown! I have a cuz not too far from Hickory (she has a Commander), and I hang out there or in Greensboro and Charlotte a lot. Nice Jeep, I got a 92 that's damn near exact to yours, although I like your seats better.
